Announcement of Upcoming Screening of “We and Our Mountains” at the Alliance Française Ottawa

In the framework of the Month of La Francophonie, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, in partnership with the Alliance Française Ottawa and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and Cinema Foundation of Аrmenia, is pleased to invite you to a special event - screening of "We and Our Mountains" at Alliance Française Ottawa on March 6.

The movie screening will be preceded by recital of Armenian poetry in French.

Film: We and Our Mountains (1969), in Armenian with French subtitles, directed by Henrik Malyan.
Date & time: March 6, Friday, 7 p.m.
Location: Alliance Française Ottawa (352 MacLaren st.)
Entrance: Free, upon registration. You can register with the Alliance Française Ottawa by culture@af.ca .

About: When a minor dispute over lost sheep gets out of hand, a group of shepherds find their mountain idyll interrupted by the long arm of the law in Henrik Malyan’s satire, adapted from the work by beloved Armenian author Hrant Matevosyan.

Dans le cadre du Mois de la Francophonie, l’Ambassade de la République d’Arménie, en partenariat avec l’Alliance Française d’Ottawa et avec le soutien du Ministère de l’Éducation, des Sciences, de la Culture et des Sports, ainsi que de la Fondation du Cinéma d’Arménie, a le plaisir de vous convier à une projection spéciale du film «Nous et nos montagnes» à l’Alliance Française d’Ottawa le 6 mars.
