Ambassador Yeganian participated at a forum titled “Who Is The Global Armenian? A Millenial Perspective”, held in Montreal
On March 25th, Armen Yeganian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Canada participated at a forum titled “Who Is The Global Armenian? A Millenial Perspective”, held in Montreal. The discussion was organized by Canadian-Armenian businessman and philantrophist Levon Afeyan.
Canadian-Armenian public figures, as well as a big number of Canadian-Armenian millennials attended the event.
During the forum, the participants were divided into three groups, each group discussed the preservation of Armenian Identity in the Diaspora, along with other questions related to Armenia-Diaspora ties. The groups then reconvened for a larger group discussion, led by Ambassador Yeganian and American-Armenian philantrophist Noubar Afeyan.
During his speech, Ambassador Yeganian called upon the young generation participating in the forum, along with the Canadian-Armenian community as a whole, to participate actively in Armenia’s and Artsakh’s life. Ambassador Yeganian decried indifference as intolerable and selfdestructive approach.
During the discussion, both Ambassador Yeganian and Noubar Afeyan answered questions of the audience.
