Ambassador Harutyunyan’s working visit to the ICAO headquarters

On June 23, in the framework of a working visit to Montreal, Anahit Harutyunyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Canada, attended the meeting of the Informal Working Group of the Landlocked Developing Countries to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO LLDCs IWG) with Toshiyuki Onuma, President of the ICAO Council.

The meeting was also attended by Juan Carlos Salazar, ICAO Secretary General, Mohamed Khalifa Rahma, Air Transport Bureau Director, on one side, and the Ambassadors of Mongolia (IWG chair), Nepal, and the Advisor to the President of Mongolia, on the other, aimed at discussing the mentioned group’s work.

Ambassador Harutyunyan reassured that Armenia would continue its efforts to enhance the effective multilateral cooperation in advancing the common priorities of LLDCs within the United Nations.

President Onuma confirmed ICAO’s commitment to supporting aviation in the LLDCs.

It was followed by a meeting with the ICAO representatives who assist the IWG initiatives’ implementation.
