Chris Bohjalian's "The Sandcastle Girls" presentation

With the support of the Armenian Embassy in Canada and organized by Armenian National Committee of Canada (ANCC) the presentation of Chris Bohjalian’s ''The Sandcastle Girls'' book took place in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal on October 22-24 . New York Times bestseller historical fiction tells about the Armenian Genocide, focusing on Armen Petrosian’s and Elizabeth Endicott’s love story.

The book presentation in the capital took place on October 23, in the city's Rideau Centre ''Chapters'' bookstore.

Ambassador Armen Yeganian addressed the audience with a speech underscoring the importance of recognition of the Armenian Genocide and condemnation of the “genocide” phenomena per se to prevent reoccurrence of such crimes in the future.
