Theatrical Play in Canada to Honour the Life and Artistic Career of Charles Aznavour

A theatrical play, based on the life of Charles Aznavour, will be produced in Toronto by “Necessary Angel Theatre Company” this October, dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the world-renowned chansonnier.

A special reception has been organized with the participation of the Embassy of Armenia to Canada on March 22nd. Charles Aznavour himself, Ambassador Armen Yeganian, famous film director Atom Egoyan, renowned actress Arsinée Khanjian and other cultural and public figures were present at the function.

During the reception, graciously hosted by philantropists Leslie and Anna Dan, an exerpt from the play was presented to the audience. The upcoming play has already caught the attention of art critics.
