Book Presentation at the Embassy

On September 12, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada hosted the presentation of Matthew Karanian’s “Historic Armenia: After 100 Years”.

The author of the first travel guide on Armenia Mr. Karanian is a lawyer from California, USA and has lectured in the American University of Armenia from 2002 to 2006.

Ambassador addressed the guests, presented the author and his accomplishments. Matthew Karanian presented a lecture full with photographic evidence of both standing cultural artefacts in Historic Armenia, as well as of lost heritage.The audience hailed the presentation on six provinces of Western Armennia, crypto-Armenians and Armenian church-building traditions.

Under the auspices of the Embassy, Mr. Karanian also presented his new book to the public in Montreal and Toronto.
