Concert in Montreal dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide

Under the auspices of Armenian Ambasaador on September 20th the Armenian Genocide Centennial Commemorations Committee of Canada organized a concert of classical music at Montreal Symphonic Orchestra Hall. Programme included “Psalm number 3” of the world-renowned Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. “Psalm number 3”, which is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, has been written specifically for the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and has been already performed on many stages around the world.

Under the baton of Maestro Penderecki himself the Canadian premiere was presented to the full hall of 1000 spectators.
