Ambassador Yeganian delivered a speech at the annual conference of the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA)

The annual summit of the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) took place on November 8th in Montreal, at which Ambassadors from a number of countries accredited to Canada, diplomats, civil and political actors, business people and journalists took part. The keynote speaker of the event was Tatyana Valovaya, the Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The Ambassador of Armenia to Canada, Armen Yeganian, participated in the summit and delivered a speech accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation on Armenia’s economic development and the priorities of Armenia’s economic policy. Ambassador Yeganian touched upon cooperation with major international organizations operating in Armenia and presented comparative data on a number of important indicators from recent years.

In conjunction with the summit, Carleton University, located in Ottawa, hosted Minister Valovaya on November 9th for a presentation on the current state of the Eurasian Economic Union. Following the presentation, the Minister held a question and answer session with students and professors from the University.
