Edward Nalbandian met with the Minister of International Development and La Francophonie of Canada

On November 24, while paying a working visit in Antananarivo, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, had a meeting with Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie of Canada.

Edward Nalbandian and Marie-Claude Bibeau commended the multilateral effective cooperation established between the two countries, as well as exchanged views on the steps to be undertaken towards the further development of the Armenian-Canadian collaboration.

During the meeting a number of pressing international and regional issues were discussed, particularly, those related to the Syrian crisis and migration flows. Ministers Nalbandian and Bibeau highlighted the importance to strengthen the cooperation within international institutions, as well as mutually support the candidacies.

The interlocutors touched upon the agenda issues of the 32th Conference of Foreign Minister and the 16th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
