Ambassador Yeganian’s Meeting with the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada

On April 4th, Armen Yeganian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Canada, in his capacity as the Dean of the Ambassadors Group of European Countries accredited in Canada, had a meeting with Honourable Geoff Regan, the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada.

During the meeting, aside from the work of the Ambassadors Group of European Countries accredited in Canada, a wide range of issues related to Armenian-Canadian relations was discussed.

At the request of Speaker Regan, Ambassador Yeganian spoke about the latest developments in bilateral relations along with future plans.

Mr. Regan, touching upon the recent Parliamentary elections in Armenia, extended his good wishes to those who were elected to the Armenian Parliament.

During the meeting, a number of regional and global issues were discussed as well.
