"Reflections on Armenia"

The event “Reflections on Armenia” under the patronage of Maria Yeganian and dedicated to the 500th Anniversary of first Armenian bookprint was held at the Armenian Embassy on May 11, 2012.

Armenia’s rich culture was presented to the members of the Women’s Diplomatic Association of Ottawa, women Ambassadors accredited to Canada and Canadian female officials.

Guests of the Embassy viewed a short film about Armenia and listened to piano performances of works by composers A. Khachatryan and A. Babajanyan, played by John Sarkissian and Michael Turabian of Ottawa. Songs by Armenian composers were performed by famous Canadian-Armenian opera singer Armine Kassabian, followed by a showing of Armenian Medieval Royal costumes, Armenian dance performances and a reception.
