Book presentation at the Embassy

On November 19 the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada hosted a presentation of Canadian-Armenian political scientist, poet, Emeritus Professor Alan Whitehorn's bilingual poem book "Return to Armenia".

Guests from Canadian authorities, diplomatic corps, NGO sector and Armenian Diaspora were present at the event. The book presentation started with the address of H.E. Ambassador Armen Yeganian, who underlined the importance of Genocide education through diplomacy, academia and art.

Alan Whitehorn is an Emeritus Professor of the Royal Military College of Canada and is author of several books. Most of Professor Whitehorn's poems are dedicated to the Armenian Genocide and the longing for Motherland. The poem collection "Return to Armenia" has the same themes and is the first to be presented with Armenian translation.
