The Secrets and Enchantment of Stones: An Exhibition Dedicated to the 1050th Anniversary of Ani

An exhibition named "The Secrets and Enchantment of Stones", dedicated to the 1050th Anniversary of Ani's proclamation as Capital of Armenia is being held from February 27 to March 24 at the Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec in Montreal. The author of this exquisite exhibition is Professor Ashot Grigoryan, Director of the Armenian National Museum-Institute of Architecture.

On March 7th the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada hosted Prof. Grigoryan's presentation. Ambassador Yeganian greeted the audience, underlining the rich, millenia-old Armenian architecture and its impact on the world architectural traditions.

Prof. Grigoryan elaborated on the foundations of the Armenian architecture, its symbolic system and its usage in Ani and architecture in general.

"The Secrets and Enchantment of Stones" will be exhibited in several cities of Canada.
