Musical Competition on the occasion of the International Children’s Day

On the occasion of the International Day for the Protection of Children a Talent Show was organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada on June 8 for young Canadian-Armenian performers.

Eight musicians from Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto participated in the show with guitar, vocal, piano and violin performances.

The specialized jury, headed by composer John Sarkissian rewarded the best performers with monetary prizes. Nora Boghossian – vocal, Mine Satourian – vocal, and Yeghia Boghossian – piano, earned the awards. Ambassador’s Special Prizes went to 6-year-old Talar Aghazarian and Yeghia Boghossian. All attendants received a Certificate of Participation.

The annual competition on the occasion of the International Day for the Protection of Children takes place under the auspices of Maria Yeganian, spouse of the Ambassador of Armenia to Canada.
