Book Presentation by Rifat Bali

Lately famous Turkish author Rifat Bali had presentations of his newly translated book "Model Citizens of the State: The Jews of Turkey during the Multi-Party Period" in Montreal and Toronto. Mr. Bali is an active member of the Jewish community of Turkey and has published several books since 1990s about Antisemitism and forced turkification of Jews in Turkey.

In his speech during the book presentation event on October 20th in Montreal the author spoke about Armenian Genocide, Turkey's denialist policy and the joint efforts of Jewish and Turkish lobbyist groups against the resolutions recognizing Armenian Genocide in US Congress.

Ambassador Armen Yeganian, who was present at the book presentation event thanked Mr. Bali for his selfless actions aimed at restoring justice.
