Ambassador Yeganian Presented a Lecture at Université Laval

On November 6 Ambassador Armen Yeganian presented a lecture at Université Laval (Quebec City) on the occasion of establishment of Armenian studies group in the framework of the Association of Studies of Political Systems of the University.

In his lecture Ambassador presented the history of Armenia, talked about bilateral Armenian-Canadian relations, international recognition of Armenian Genocide and Armenia's participation in the International Organization of la Francophonie. At the Q&A session and conference after the lecture, Ambassador answered the questions of the members of the newly-created group and other guests. During the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Mr. François Blais and the head of the Armenian studies group Mr. François Pierre Cartolano His Excellency discussed issues of cooperation between Université Laval and Armenian higher-education institutions.

Ambassador also paid tribute and placed flowers to the monument dedicated to Komitas.
