Concerts dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Canada

On November 8, renowned singer and honoured artist of the Republic of Armenia Nune Yesayan performed a concert in Toronto city, dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. Concert was organized jointly by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and HOMENETMEN Toronto and supported by the Embassy of Armenia to Canada. North-American concert tour was carried under the motto “We exist, shall exist and shall flourish”.

Ambassador of Armenia to Canada Armen Yeganian, spiritual leaders, social and political figures, journalists, representatives of the Armenian community and many Canadians attended the concert.

In his speech ambassador Yeganian thanked Nune Yesayan for spreading the Armenian music and culture worldwide and conveying the spirit of Armenia to the diaspora. The Ambassador higly welcomed the concert emphasizing its importance amongst the cultural events dedicated to the Centenial of the Armenian Genocide.

Nune Yesayan’s performance was warmly received by the attendees.

Prior to that on October 30, Nune Yesayan had another concert in the Canadian city of Montreal.
