Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada Participated in "Doors Open Ottawa"

On June 4th and 5th, forth year in a row, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada participated in “Doors Open Ottawa” program.

In the frameworks of the project, many cultural, historical and public buildings open their doors to the general public, including many embassies. Over the course of the two days the Embassy received hundreds of visitors, who got acquainted with the architecture and history of the building, had a chance to learn about Armenian culture, values and history. Embassy employees were presenting details about the Armenian arts, cross-stones, churches and their role in Armenian architecture.

The Embassy's building, built in 1908, has also served for the diplomatic missions of Uruguay and Hungary; it has received an Ottawa Heritage Building designation in 2007.
