An exchange of letters of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Canada took place on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of establishment of Diplomatic Relations between two countries

On January 31st, Armen Yeganian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Canada met Ian Shugart, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada.

Congratulating Mr. Shugart on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Canada, Ambassador Yeganian expressed confidence that the warm and friendly relations established between the two countries over the course of 25 years will be further developed and strengthened during the next quarter of a century.

In his turn, Deputy Minister Shugart congratulated Ambassador Yeganian on the occasion, he emphasized that Canada highly values dynamically developing relationship with Armenia and expressed his respect for the great contributions of the Canadian-Armenian community to Canada.

During the meeting Ambassador Yeganian and Deputy Minister Shugart exchanged letters from their respective Foreign Ministers on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Canada.

The interlocutors discussed the present state of Armenian-Canadian relations and underlined the productive cooperation of the two countries in the frameworks of international organizations, especially the International Organisation of La Francophonie.
